If you have any of your team who aren’t being fully utilised right now, see if you can redeploy them to another team, another project and if not, consider furloughing them through the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS)
It’s a temporary scheme open to all UK employers until at least the end of June 2020, starting from 1 March 2020 here. Not only is this a cheaper option than redundancies, but it also keeps your options open to bringing back those team members when needed.
